The 9th African International Conference (AIC) on Statistics will be held in the vibrant city of Nairobi, Kenya, from June 16 to 20, 2025. This international conference is hosted jointly by Strathmore University (SU), Kenya, and the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC), USA in partnership with the American Statistical Association (ASA). Organized in collaboration with ASA, SU’s Institute of Mathematical Sciences, and UMBC’s Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the conference will focus on the theme: “Leveraging Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Emerging Analytical Tools in Mathematical Sciences for Development in Africa.”
